8.4.1 Free on CD

Enter the disk menu. The display will show:

Free on CD = <CD empty>

NEXT EJECT STOP

Or for example:

Free on CD = 700 MB

NEXT EJECT STOP

The amount of free space on the CD is displayed. Effectively the available

recording space is slightly smaller due to space reserved for directory

purposes.

8.4.2 Create CD directory

Creating a directory on the CD is done to make the CD usable for the PC.

• Enter the disk menu and press NEXT once.

The display will show:

Create CD Directory

NEXT EJECT START STOP

• Press START to start creating a directory.

The display will show:

Create CD Directory

OPEN CLOSE CANCEL

• Press OPEN or CLOSED to create an open or closed directory.
